We had a blast this past weekend in Tivoli with great stories and cheers by the fire pit – the last hoorah of the season. We will be back in the spring as soon as the weather or some other miracle allows us to get back together again. We hope you’ll be practicing stories to bring to our 2021 On The Fly season. Until then, here are some of the stories from this month’s slam (a few didn’t record properly). The theme was FIRST DATES.
This will be our final Backyard Edition story slam of 2020. Join us on October 17 at 4pm for stories around the fire pit. Like the last two backyard slams, we will keep participation limited in order to ensure everyone’s health, so if you want to tell a story or just listen in, get in touch. We’ll disclose the location once you do. The theme will be FIRST DATES.
It was another beautiful evening on Saturday with amazing stories and a socially spaced audience. We’re storing up the togetherness for the winter to come, but hope we can squeeze in another backyard slam around the fire pit next month. Info to come (but we’re thinking ‘first date’ stories, what could be spookier!). You can listen to a few of the stories from this past weekend below. The theme of the night was Reckoning.
Join us for another online workshop in the art of crafting and telling your story. Over the course of six weeks, this workshop will introduce you to the principles of storytelling and teach you how to craft and tell your stories. At the end of the workshop, you will perform your story at On The Fly – a story slam where storytellers bring real-life stories to the stage every month.

Join us for our second backyard edition of On The Fly September 19 @ 5pm. With the pandemic in mind, we will only be able to host a limited number of people, so please get in touch if you want to tell a story or come listen. We will provide info about location to those who sign up.
