Storytelling Workshops
What are the stories that shape and define your life? How do you uncover them, tell them, perform them and share them with others? This workshop teaches storytelling as a path to both personal and community development.
Stories build community and help us make sense of ourselves and the world we live in. We need that now more than ever. In crafting and telling stories of our lived experience, we learn to explore the life experiences that have shaped and defined us as individuals, and telling our stories also connects us to others and reveals our shared humanity.
In the past we have taught workshops at places such as Bard Early College, Pratt Institute, Harvard University, Vassar College, The Catskill Comedy Festival, and we teach an ongoing workshop in a maximum security prison in addition to private coaching and small group workshops across the Hudson Valley.

Kind Words
If I could give 5 stars, I would! This three-day storytelling workshop led by Caitlin and Christina, the founders of “On The Fly Story Slam’, was a truly enriching experience. Their dynamic teaching style, and insightful guidance, helped participants craft compelling narratives. Through interactive exercises and constructive feedback, the workshop fostered creativity and honed storytelling skills effectively. It was a true safe space, where people were able to show and share vulnerability and personal experiences. Highly recommended for all (aspiring) storytellers!
