storytelling workshop – Hudson Valley Story Workshops

Storytellers! This summer we are introducing a series of intensive 2-day storytelling workshops designed to help you craft and develop themed stories to be told at On The Fly story slams. We will introduce you to basic principles of storytelling and explore useful performance techniques in an intimate and supportive group setting. At the end of the workshop, you will perform your story at the next On The Fly story slam.

Do you miss coming to On The Fly Story Slam at HiLo Catskill and want to stay connected to other storytellers until we are able to gather in public places again? Over the course of six weeks, this online workshop will introduce you to the principles of storytelling and teach you how to craft and tell your stories. At the end of the workshop, you will perform your story at On The Fly – a story slam where storytellers bring real-life stories to the stage every month.
