Next month we celebrate the beginning of summer with HOT MESS – stories of meltdowns, hot summer nights, things out of whack. Or whatever hot mess means to you. This will be our last slam at Avalon for the summer. We will be back in September, but hope to see you at OPUS 40 where we will be slamming throughout the summer:

Coming up March 7: LIFELINES. Who and what tethers you? A lifeline, according to the dictionary, is “a line used to keep contact with a person in a dangerous situation” or “something regarded as indispensable for the maintaining or protection of life.” If that rings a story bell for you, come throw your name in the hat next Thursday to tell your 5-minute true-life story.
