March 7 Slam: Lifelines
Coming up March 7: LIFELINES. Who and what tethers you? A lifeline, according to the dictionary, is “a line used to keep contact with a person in a dangerous situation” or “something regarded as indispensable for the maintaining or protection of life.” If that rings a story bell for you, come throw your name in the hat next Thursday to tell your 5-minute true-life story. Sign-up 6.30, stories 7pm. $5 at the door.
2024 Slam Themes
Happy New Year, Fríends! Here’s wishing for peace and conflict resolution in 2024. And for another year filled with your amazing stories. We’re taking January off, but will be back at @theavalonlounge on February 1. The theme will be LOVE HURTS in honor of V Day. And here’s a list of themes for the rest of the year so you can plan out your stories!
